Local educational facility is seeking experienced cooks and prep cooks to add to their dining staff. The ideal candidates should have proven commercial kitchen or cooking experience, including experience as a dishwasher, line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook. Candidates will also have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, setting up and stocking stations with necessary supplies, preparing food for service in cooperation with entire kitchen staff, as well as sanitation and maintenance of the work space. Culinary and/or ServSafe certification is preferred.
